The Nashoba Associated Boards of Health (NABH) seeks applicants for the position of Full-Time Public Health Nurse Manager for the Health District which services the following towns: Ashburnham, Ashby, Ayer, Berlin, Bolton, Boxborough, Dunstable, Groton, Harvard, Lancaster, Lunenburg, Pepperell, Shirley, Stow and Townsend.

NABH was established in 1931 to provide public health services to member communities in North Central Mass and the Nashoba Valley, in partnership with each community’s local Board of Health.
Job Summary
NABH is seeking a compassionate Public Health Nurse Manager to manage and supervise nursing staff, grants and provide public health nursing services for the member towns. The position has the potential to be a hybrid position on occasion. The work environment requires travel to the towns and involves meeting with clients or contacts in homes, the police or fire station, the schools, the Council on Aging or the Community Centers.
Statement of Duties
The scope of services for this position spans the NABH member towns. This position provides health promotion and education programs as well as health clinics, wellness and disease prevention services for residents, and conducts investigations of disease outbreaks. Other duties include MAVEN, MIIS, and the preparation of educational materials.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in nursing with current Massachusetts Board of Registered Nurse License. 3-5 years of experience in clinical, public health or community-based nursing is preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
Special Requirements
- MAVEN training within two (2) months of hire
- Foundations for the Local Public Health Practice course completed within six (6) months of hire
- Valid driver’s license
- CPR Certification
- Current proof of immunizations and a TB test
Full-time position; Salary $95,000 - $100,000/year, based on 40 hours/week.
